Daewoo deal in Madagascar cancelled

Madagascar’s new president has cancelled a land deal involving South Korea’s Daewoo two days after taking office, the Telegraph reports. The 34-year-old President Rajoelina said, “In the constitution, it is stipulated that Madagascar’s land is neither for sale nor for rent, so the agreement with Daewoo is cancelled.”
